I've written these the way I'd want to read them: what the problem actually was, what I built, what it runs on, and how long it's been running. That last one is the part most portfolios leave out, and it's the part that matters.

A multi-tenant learning platform serving 150,000 learners in more than 130 countries, hosted by me since 2000 and much of it developed by me, rebuilt three times as the technology moved on, and never with a bad outage. It is the clearest evidence of what I do, rather than an invitation to hand me a second one.

The first website I ever built for a client, live since 1996 and still maintained by me today. The Yetties were a folk group from Yetminster who played from the 1950s until they retired in 2011, and the site is now the record of it, written in Bonny Sartin's own words rather than mine.

I looked after Hounslow Travel Services for twenty years. When the next generation started a taxi business in Sherborne, they came to me for the website without anybody having to be persuaded. That is the part of this work I would rather be judged on than any single build.
